Freeze Frame Preliminary Schedule

This will all be in the packets available soon.

But until then, I know scheduling is a huge question for many of you.

Actors:  I am accepting few conflicts.  The dates with * are mandatory.  In other words, if you can't make those dates, you will not be cast.  You may have no conflicts from 11/17 to the end of the run if you are to be considered.

Crew members: you must be mostly available for the LOAD IN/TECH PREP dates.  And you must be totally available for all dates/times from 11/21 to the end of the run.

All:  NOTE THE PROXIMITY TO THANKSGIVING.  If you are planning on skipping school those days of Thanksgiving week, you cannot be in this production.  No exceptions.

My email is matthew.b.zrebski@gmail.com should anyone have questions.

Later,
MZ

NOTES
--It is rare that every cast member would be called on each day.  The 3 plays will rotate rehearsals.  This means there should be plenty of time to strategize homework and other obligations.

--Very few conflicts will be accepted.  But I will try to work around you when I can.  However, these dates are mandatory for you to participate in the show:
10/13, 10/14, 11/11, and 11/17 through closing.

FREEZE FRAME AUDITIONS

The scripts will be available to download and read on Friday 10/3.
Audition Packets will be available to download and/or pick up after school on Friday 10/3.
This gives you all the weekend to read / consider / prepare.

THE AUDITION

GENERALS (Tues. 10/7, 4p - 6p - sign up on auditorium door)
Except for reading the plays, there is nothing to prepare for this audition.  Part of the assessment will be your ability to handle whatever is thrown at you.  Your vocal technique, physical skills, improvisation, and openness to your fellow actors will be key.  This will be a group audition and smaller groups may be created throughout the process.  Be prepared to stay the entire time, though you may be released early.  Dress in movement clothing and be prepared to work in bare feet.  A positive, supportive, and intensely focused demeanor is important.  If you cannot be there the entire time, you must note this at the beginning of the auditions.

CALL BACKS (Wed. 10/8 and Thurs. 10/9, 4p – 6p)
The call back process will include readings from the scripts and additional investigation of acting skills and the ability to quickly take direction.

CASTING ANNOUNCMENT
Fri. 10/10, by 5p via the blog.  A post on the door will be available Mon. 10/13 by 9a.  Note that first rehearsal is Mon. 10/13 at 3:30p.

ROLE ACCEPTANCE
By simply showing up, any actor auditioning for the show is saying, “I am excited to accept any role offered.”  No requests will be entertained regarding your role preference.   If you get cast and then refuse a role, it may greatly affect future casting at Lincoln Drama, so make your decision to audition wisely.
