Time Sensitive: Drama Night Out ???

Hey everyone!

I just opened a show at Theatre Vertigo called I Want to Destroy You.   It is a world premiere of a new play.  The reviews are starting to come in and buzz is building, so the company thinks tickets are going to go fast.  Given there are only 38 seats in this intimate blackbox, I am moving fast on this!

I think many of you would love this show.  It's also a new play, and there are far too few productions of new work.  I have permission to offer you all a $5 ticket for the following performance:

Sunday 2/7 at 7:30p
At the Shoebox Theatre
2110 SE 10th Ave / 97214
2 hours, 20 minutes, including intermission  - so out around 9:50p.

This IS NOT a Lincoln sanctioned event.  You would be on your own.  I cannot be there that night, so you'd be representing Lincoln Drama on your own wonderful terms.  :)

To get your name on the list, YOU MUST EMAIL ME ASAP.
matthew.b.zrebski@gmail.com
Please tell me how many tickets you want and I will confirm.  Please be serious about your reservation.  It would be horrible to have people reserve and then not show up.  They are doing this as a favor to me and as a way to support students.

A review of the show: HERE

I would rate this PG-13 for some profanity and adult situations.

I hope to hear from you.  There are currently about 23 seats left for us to take!  And Wilson Drama has the same offer.  There is a possibility to add another evening, but for now...let's shoot for this date!

Shortlist - Small Delay

All:

Deepest apologies for the delay in notifying writer applicants.  I am in the middle of moving, and a mistake was made in my Comcast service cut off date.  As a result, I discovered I was without internet yesterday, and my schedule did not allow for me to go to a hotspot to get all the information out.

Luckily, this morning, the issue is resolved, and I will be able to get the information out shortly.

Thanks for your patience,
MZ

RE: Pick Up Rehearsal

You all have a pick up rehearsal this:
Wednesday 12/10
CALL:  4:00p
GO:  4:30p

A few things...

1.  You DO NOT need to be in make-up / hair.  You DO need to be in costume.

2.  Zanna will be running this rehearsal; I will not be there.  Please treat this situation professionally.  I will get a full report on how things went.

3.  You may leave after your duties are done.

4.  You may watch plays you are not in - this is the last time you will have an opportunity to do this, so if you want to see and support one, final time, this is your chance!

5.  The main focus of this pick up should be staying present and sharp in your work - and also to maintain and grow the vocal and physical technique.

CONGRATS ON AN AMAZING OPENING WEEKEND!!!

RE: Company Dinner Opening Night

To my surprise, some of you are unaware of the opening night company dinner tradition.  So...for the record.

There is a celebratory opening night dinner provided for all of us on Thursday 12/4, at 5:00p in room 169.  This is a mandatory event and will help us all come together before launching this wonderful production.  If you had plans to eat off site, please postpone those plans to another evening.
