Time Sensitive: Program Bios - Cast & Crew

Request for Program Information

Every single student involved in the show - cast & crew - must pen a 50 word (or less) short biography for the program.  This is to be done in professional format. 

General Rules:  

50 words or less.  Write in 3^rd person.  Keep it about your credits / training.  Keep it pithy.  No jokes.  No personal aspirations.  Simple thank you’s.

Good Example:

Casey Ortiz is a junior and has previously been seen in Little Shop of Horrors as Audrey and was the Stage Manager for The Crucible.  She is also an intern at ACT’s Academy for Young Performers.  She thanks her parents and brother for being a constant support.

Don’t do this:

I’ve been in a few plays and they were awesome!  My favorite was being Audrey in Little Shop.  I do plays outside of drama at other places.  I hope one day to make it on Broadway and win a Tony.  I’m going for it!  YOLO!

Script Update: B^2

After dramaturgical sessions with playwright Barrett Kent, it's become evident that an entirely new draft will be printed on Monday 4/9.  It's also evident that there is no need to memorize as previously requested until the actors are exposed to this new draft. In addition, blocking will change from the previous rehearsal.  The B^2 cast has a long day Monday.  Come with good energy and ready to work - there will be an intense and packed agenda.

IMPORTANT

It is assumed you will attend all of the above calls unless you alert Lydia Fecker by Friday 4/6 at 12:00p.  If you have conflicts, be clear on what that means. 

EXAMPLES:

“I must leave at 7:00p on F 4/6.”

“I will arrive no later than 2:00p on SA 4/21.”

“I cannot be there at all on W 4/25.”

Once Lydia has all availability, know that failure to show up to your agreed upon call times may result in removal from the production.

When coming to work, you must be in work clothes - meaning, be prepared to get dirty, have paint spilled on you, etc.  LHS Drama is not responsible for any clothing that is ruined during this process.  You must also wear close-toed shoes.

*All schedules are subject to change.  If changes occur, we will communicate in a timely manner.

Hard copies will be provided at the time of your next rehearsal.

You should begin memorizing immediately.  

We are two weeks behind the normal new works process due to this year's calendar...your attention to memorization will be key in bringing this show in on time.  

Note:  Apple of My Eye is now called Blank.  This will be the official new title.
